Tournament of badminton "Kevadsuled XVI"

 

THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT

 

 

 

 

THE PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION:

The purpose of the tournament is to widen in Estonia the spread of badminton as a competitive sport area. The practitioners of badminton who have not participated in any tournament or found one with proper level so far are especially welcome.

THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE COMPETITION:

The tournament is played on 14th May 2022 in SPARTA sport club (Pärnu mnt 139c; Tallinn), beginning at 10:00.

The initial timetable of the tournament will be published on the web page of Badminton Estonia http://www.badminton.ee  and www.tournamentsoftware.com at 9th May 2024

ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS:

Every practitioner of badminton is eligible. The ones who have never participated a tournament before or have a short tournament experience are especially welcome. The competition is also open to foreign quests.

THE PLAY TYPES and THE SYSTEM OF THE COMPETITION:

Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles (play types) will be played. The tournament will be played in five divisions: master league, premeir league, 2nd league, 3nd league  and 4nd league.  The competitors play in groups, the winners of the groups continue in olympic system until the winner of the division in the play type is found. The head referee of the tournament has the right to move competitors into another division.

The competition is held with competitors’ personal feather shuttles.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

Participation fee 25 € per competitor (the amount of play types the competitor takes part in does not matter) must be paid to Henn Sarv’s account EE262200221027230878 in Swedbank (SWIFT/BIC: HABAEE2X).
Please give as the explanation of the payment: Kevadsuled, competitor’s name and the division played in.
Payment have been done and received by midnight before Saturday. Last minute payments requested to send payment confirmation by email (henn@sarv.ee) or taken printed with.

When paid on-site, the participation fee is 30 € per competitor.

AWARDING:

The finalists of the play types are awarded.

ENTRIES:

Entries must be made stating names and play type by 7 th May 2024 via e-mail to: henn@sarv.ee (the subject of the e-mail should be “KEVADSULED”). Registration has to include the name of the Club the player belongs to (for member Clubs only).

Registration will be closed when the upper limit attendees (100) fulfilled.
